Outdoor Activities
We spend the majority of our time outdoors. Located on Nantucket Lighthouse School’s beautiful campus, Camp Lighthouse has fun and inviting spaces for children: mud kitchens, play structures, Ga-Ga pit, basketball court, and mini golf course.
Creativity
we provide daily art and science projects that get the campers‘ creative juices flowing! From watercolor painting to clay sculpture to making volcanoes with lemons, campers engage in fun, creative play every day.
Water Games
Our favorite way to beat the heat is with daily water games! Each afternoon counselors prepare various games, such as sponge tag, sprinklers, and our giant inflatable water slide.
About Camp Lighthouse
Camp Lighthouse is an enriching summer program where kids can be kids and parents can rest assured that their children are engaged in a thoughtful, safe, creative, and fun summer camp experience. Held on Nantucket Lighthouse School’s beautiful campus, Camp Lighthouse has ample indoor and outdoor spaces that are designed specifically for children. Each day we offer daily activities, such as water games, field games, art projects, science experiments, and field trips that tap into our local community for enrichment and encourage exploration of the island’s natural resources.
Each day campers participate in a variety of activities, based on their interests and age, that have been carefully curated by a team of experienced educators who make learning and fun their mission all year long. Our counselors are not only CPR and First Aid-certified, but they are also dedicated to ensuring that every child has the social and emotional growth that only a summer camp experience can provide. Building confidence through leadership opportunities, trying new things, and cooperative play is an important facet of Camp Lighthouse.
